Our Professional Steve Geary is a PGA Qualified Level III instructor and offers excellent coaching to all levels of players which is conducted on grass. Although driving ranges provide the opportunity to practice, the mats do not recreate the sensation and accuracy required for the actual golf course. Learning and practicing on grass provides a realistic experience which we believe assists the pupil in their development.

Steve has an excellent reputation for his standard of instruction and is available daily although appointments are required in advance.

Steve Geary has been trained in club fitting and as a result Maidenhead Golf Club Professional’s Shop is an Authorised Club Fitting Centre for Titleist and Ping golf clubs.

Club Fitting incorporates establishing the correct club head design, shaft, length, lie and grip to provide the optimum ball flight for each individual. This is achieved by listening to the customer’s preference after trial of several options of brand and model incorporating the above components. At the conclusion of the fitting, Steve will provide a recommendation for the customer to consider. This process can be achieved with the Foresight Sports GC2 Launch Monitor for those players that appreciate flight data.
