1. OUT OF BOUNDS (RULE 18.2)
a) Beyond any boundary fence or hedge.
b) Beyond any line of white stakes.
c) Beyond the fence bounding the car park on the left hand side of the 13th hole.
d) On or beyond the curb-stones of the car park at the rear and side of the 18th green.
e) On or beyond the path in front of the clubhouse.
2. PENALTY AREA (RULE 17)
The ditch on the 2nd hole as defined by the yellow stakes.
3. ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS (RULE 16)
Any area defined by white lines or G.U.R. markers.
4. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (RULE 16.1)
The following are immovable obstructions and relief may be
obtained under Rule 16.1:-
a) Fixed seats and shelters.
b) Staked trees (relief must be taken).
c) All constructed paths, including the track across the 4th hole marked by white tufts.
d) Fixed sprinkler heads and collars.
e) The wood chipped flower beds to the left of the 18th green.
In addition, if a ball lies off the putting green but not in a penalty area, and a sprinkler head on or within two club-lengths of the putting green and within two club-lengths of the ball intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may take relief as follows:
The ball must be lifted and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay that:-
(a) is not nearer the hole,
(b) avoids such intervention and
(c) is not in a penalty area or on the putting green.
The ball may be cleaned when lifted.
