The course is open with no restrictions (updated 06 July at 10:15)

Update 2nd December 2020

Maidenhead will be placed into Tier 2 of the Covid restrictions from 2nd December 2020. This has an impact on the services that we are able to provide to members.
During the latest lockdown MGC has been pro-active with its contingency planning for all eventualities and this planning is enabling MGC to open and provide a limited bar and catering service for members from 2nd December 2020.

Key changes to services provided prior to 5th November 2020.
• Under the Tier 2 restrictions we are only allowed to provide alcoholic drinks when served with a substantial meal.
• No household mixing in the clubhouse apart from those in your bubble.
• The Marquee on the patio will remain in place for the foreseeable future, however this will require the sides to be opened up to ensure this is classed as an outdoor space.
Please note that whilst at MGC, it is incumbent on all of us to take personal responsibility to ensure that rules are followed in relation to socialising and mixing of bubbles and households.
The measures taken previously in respect of one way systems, hand sanitisers, face coverings, table service only, etc. do not change and we would respectfully request that these are adhered to at all times.
We hope these restrictions to our member services will not be required for too much longer and as soon as we are able, we will look to restore full Bar & Catering facilities.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

update 4th November 2020

We have been instructed by England Golf to close the course and all the facilities from Thursday 5th November 2020 until Wednesday 2nd December 2020
Please stay safe and we will continue to update you through this period.

With effect from 24th September 2020 we are required to implement the following measures for anyone using the facility:

• When entering the clubhouse, members, Guests visitors and staff must comply with the government guidelines in respect of the wearing of face coverings.
• Food and drink must be ordered from, and served at a table. A member of the front of house team will come to your table and take your order.
• We will be displaying the official NHS QR code poster for use with the NHS track and trace app which is available from 24th September, for members guests and visitors to easily scan in to the MGC clubhouse.
For further information on the updated guidelines please visit
We appreciate your continued support and respect of the team which are keeping our facility open and would respectfully request this to continue whilst the team get to grips with the ever-changing challenges presented to them.

Please remember the three simple actions to keep on protecting each other:
• Wash hands • Cover face • Make space

Welcome to the new normal. We are excited to be re-opening the clubhouse food and beverage service on Saturday 4th July 2020! There will be some changes that we are all going to have to get used to, so please click on the PDF below which will explain what "normal" looks like in the immediate post Covid19 easing of restrictions.

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to our new House Manager, Jimmy Dickens. Jimmy brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, delivering exceptional customer service at the highest possible standards, he is very much looking forward to the challenges and rewards that working at MGC offers. I am sure that you will all get to know him over the next few weeks.

You will be pleased to hear there will be some familiar faces to assist you throughout the day.

Aaron, ably assisted by Nelson will be serving up his culinary delights from 7.30am! The entire team would be delighted if you could join them for a pre-round breakfast, food service will be available all day with a great selection of fresh, home made hot and cold foods delivered in a new "cafe style"! Daniel and Rebecca will be on duty behind the bar and in the front of house areas ensuring that we are all safe and having a good time.

There has been alot of hard work put in by the team to ensure we are ready to go! The committee would like to offer a huge thank-you to James Pugh, our Golf Club Manager who has put in countless hours with the team in getting this all ready.

Of course, there is a serious side to all of this - we must all work with the teams on duty to ensure we play our part in making MGC a safe place to be, this means not attending the facility if there is any risk to the team or other MGC members and ensuring that we all stringently stick to the guidance that is provided.

Stay Safe & Play Safe on and off the course!
